Linda Blackwell Billingsley (Louisville): One week residency to complete the first draft of a short novel about two young women in Kentucky during the 1850s.
Beth Dotson Brown (Lancaster): One-week residency to expand her short story “Callings”, featuring two strong female characters, into a novella or novel.
Nancy Gall-Clayton (Louisville): One-week residency to work on a new full-length play that through a feminist lens explores the relationships between mothers and children.
Debra Galloway (Bardstown): One-week residency to create a series of drawings and/or mixed media works that deal with the healing of both physical and sexual abuse.
Abigail Gramig (Louisville): One-week residency to complete work on a new manuscript of poems titled Rallying Against the Fall.
Cynthia Rush (Lexington): One week residency to continue writing the narratives that accompany each of her 100 photographs in the manuscript of her book titled AFTER MEALS: A Visual Diary of the Moment Before Clean-Up.
Rebekka Seigel (Owenton): One week residency to continue writing a book about her 7-year series “Paper Doll Quilts and to begin work on a new project based on the old “yo-yo” type quilts.
Cheryle Anne Walton (Booneville): One-week residency to work on a series of watercolor paintings whose theme will be the strong women of Eastern Kentucky.
Mary Yates (Louisville): Two-week residency to prepare work for an upcoming photography show, titled “Inside the Velvet Void”, at Louisville ’s Pyro Gallery. |
