2025 Art Meets Activism | (Louisville) $4,600 to create a feature-length documentary titled Westward Expansion, which documents the stories of Black women from the West End of Louisville as they navigate changing environments while building careers, community, and family. This work centers Black women’s voices and experiences. The documentary will further her development as a feminist social change artist by deepening her engagement with community storytelling to inspire awareness, dialogue, and empowerment.

2025 Art Meets Activism | (Louisville) $7,500 to document Black women leaders and activists living in the West End of Louisville as they navigate a changing environment, while building their careers, community, and family. When not in front of the camera, the participants will be learning the technical side of filmmaking and other skills, as everyone involved will share their own unique skillsets with one another throughout the process.
2024 Art Meets Activism | (Louisville) $10,000 to document the stories of Black women from the West End of Louisville in “Westward Expansion,” a feature-length documentary.
