2024 Artist Enrichment Grant | (Glasgow) $5,000 to create a series of photographs and poetry woven together to express the impact of violence against women which will be called “Gourd Dancers Circle the Earth”. Creating this body of work will help further several decades of her work as a feminist artist for social justice. The project will culminate in presentations/poetry readings at two rural domestic violence shelters in Kentucky that engage residents and staff in discussions of feminism, empowerment and pathways to social change.
