2025 Artist Enrichment Grant | (Lexington) $2,500 to write an experimental historic novel about the 1919 racial expulsion in Corbin, Kentucky. The novel blends a fictionalized story with her own family’s history and archived depositions from a court trial that followed the violent event. Funds will be used for archival research related to female and trans femme character development, travel expenses, fees, and networking with other authors.
