Angelique Shah
Visual Artist
2027 KFW x JSP Artist in Residence | (Shepherdsville) Fiber artist, quilter, educator, and owner of Mojo Quilts and More. Her work uses quilting, appliqué, hand stitching, wearable art, and reclaimed textiles to explore women’s stories, identity, cultural memory, and the value of traditionally overlooked textile arts. As the inaugural recipient of the KFW x Josephine Sculpture Park Artist Residency, Shah will receive $2,000 to support the development of new work inspired by the park’s natural landscape. Through observation, sketches, and textile studies, she plans to explore the connections between women, place, and the natural world, transforming the forms and textures of Kentucky’s landscape into feminist fiber art.
