2025 Art Meets Activism | (Louisville) $7,500 to document Black women leaders and activists living in the West End of Louisville as they navigate a changing environment, while building their careers, community, and family. When not in front of the camera, the participants will be learning the technical side of filmmaking and other skills, as everyone involved will share their own unique skillsets with one another throughout the process.

2024 Art Meets Activism | (Louisville) $10,000 to document the stories of Black women from the West End of Louisville in “Westward Expansion,” a feature-length documentary. The film explores the Black woman’s role in navigating a changing environment while building their careers, community, and family.
2023 Art Meets Activism | (Louisville) $5,000 to document the stories of Black women from Louisville’s West End with the goal of cataloging and archiving the stories for the eventual creation of a feature-length documentary. The film will explore the Black mother’s role in navigating a changing environment while archiving personal testimonies of West End residents.
