2025 Artist Enrichment Grant | (Lexington) $2,500 to help complete her first novel, The Sand Artist, which focuses on an elderly woman who is facing end-of-life issues with her husband, a World War II vet, and is on a journey to reclaim her power once she learns the truth about a horrible act her husband committed in a moment of PTSD. This story will act as a cautionary tale against patriarchy and women giving up autonomy and financial sovereignty.
