2025 Artist Enrichment Grant | (Louisville) $5,000 to create a capsule collection of crochet garments and accessories by drawing on legacies of Black women’s global fiber practices and contemporary craft/activism. Her activities will include studio production, researching feminist textile histories, and conducting community workshops. These activities will advance her development as a feminist artist by deepening her technical practice, curatorial approach, and engagement with transnational feminist histories. The intended impact is to elevate crochet into contemporary art discourse, spark intergenerational dialogue, and empower women to see their own creative labor as valuable, political, and transformative.
