Performing Arts
2025 Art Meets Activism Grant | (Disputanta) $10,000 for the third annual Rebellious Performance Retreat, an immersive workshop and retreat in rural Appalachian Kentucky for performing artists whose work promotes feminism and opposes all forms of oppression. The purpose of the retreat is to nurture a rural Kentucky hub of infrastructure, support, and audience for activists performances, and to provide a much-needed anchor for feminist and LGBTQIA+ activism. This change will occur through community-building, resource-sharing, peer feedback, and the opportunity to be part of the Rebellious Performance showcase.
