Loretto Artist Residency
Fall 2022–Spring 2023
“You’re invited to do your art in the midst of Loretto hospitality.”
Applications due October 10 for first–round consideration.
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis after that date as space is available.
KFW is partnering with the Sisters of Loretto/Loretto Community to offer Artist
Residencies of 1–3 weeks at the Loretto Motherhouse in Nerinx, Ky.
Residencies are open to feminist artists who are residents of Kentucky who have
demonstrated achievement in creating work high in artistic merit and based on social
justice issues/concerns.
Scheduling is open for: October 14–May 14
- You can apply for a 1–3 week residency during this timeframe.
- If you have a need for a longer residency, contact KFW
- Any art form can apply: Visual, Literary, Media, Performing
Residents will be provided with housing and the option of studio space, which
includes the use of an art studio, tools and equipment.
