(Berea): $2,600 to produce paper from home harvested plant fibers into journals that will create space for shared healing around stories of loss of old-growth trees at The Glades on Berea College’s campus among mothers and youth. Through this process she will strengthen her skills in fiber arts and as story weaver, working to generate material for ‘Tree Book;’ a book that will illuminate women as stewards of the earth, honor nature, and spark the imagination of young readers.
