KFW’s grants are arts-based and feminist in nature. The Art Meets Activism (AMA) grant supports feminist artists and organizations in Kentucky. Grantees must lead community members in participatory art making that directly advances positive social change. 

At KFW, we believe that active engagement in creativity and the arts, not passive observance, is what facilitates mind and body changes and creates lasting social change impact. 

Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to feminism, their ability to lead community members in art making, and have a concrete plan for positive social change through arts-based activities.
