2022 Artist Enrichment Grant | (Lexington) $5,000 to cover travel costs for a writing retreat, writing course, and research interviews allowing her to complete her political memoir and place herself in a tradition of Appalachian women activists. The grant will allow her to learn new writing techniques, how to structure a book, and give her insight into the publishing industry.
