2022 Artist Enrichment Grant | (Lexington) $5,000 for travel to Dublin to study the Irish roots of traditional music and dance in Appalachia with a prominent Irish female performer, and create a one-woman show informed by what she learns. The project will allow her to focus on artistic development in choreography and music while highlighting stories of women’s oppression, resilience, and strength from Ireland to Appalachia.
